Kosciusko National Park

Begins just over an hour’s drive from Canberra.  Australia’s second largest national park, it includes the spectacular scenery of the Snowy Mountains.  Resorts and villages cater for snow sports enthusiasts in winter.  At other times of the year the region is popular for bushwalking, horse riding, fishing and water sports.  Some roads through the park may close because of snow in winter.
