Barossa Valley

Barossa Valley:  About 55km north-east of Adelaide.  The most famous of the State’s wine-producing regions.  There are more than 35 wineries in the area, ranging from small family business to large operations.  Most are open for inspection and many include good restaurants and bistros.  This picturesque region was first settled by German refugees more than 100 years ago and many buildings, shops and restaurant reflect the European heritage.
